Quilled Water Lily With Ducks

Hi !! I am back with some more of quilling patterns. This time i tried something different in quilling and i am really happy making this. Let me explain in short how did i make this.

The water lily flower : Center of a flower is a fringed flower. Around it another multi-colored fringed flower is attached by gluing two different color strips together. Next step is to create a basic quilled tear drop to create an outer petal. The flower is completed by arranging multiple tear drops around the fringed flower.

The Leaves : For the leaves cut of a heart shape from a green color paper. The center and sub veins are made by the folding the paper. The center vein is made by folding the leaf to create two parts .For each sub vein fold the leaf from edge to the center of the leaf.

The Ducks : The head of the ducks is made of a tight roll of a quilled strip and the body slightly pressing a quilled tear drop at one end. The ducks in detail "

Wild Flowers : Each wild flower at the left hand side is made of a quilled bee hive. Three petal are attached to to the bee hive.

Do try it out . You will enjoy this as i did. Before i end my post, i want to "Wish you all a very Happy Diwali". Will be back with some more projects soon.
